Job summary

OLX is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer for its Global BIT Infrastructure team. You will own LAN/WAN design and security across multi-country offices, drive automation, and shape scalable solutions that support OLX operations in 10 countries.

You will collaborate with IT Ops, Security, and Engineering, while mentoring junior engineers and participating in on-call rotations to ensure reliable network services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise network experience with office setups.
• Experience with Meraki and Cisco stacks is required.
• Strong networking fundamentals and security focus.
• Automation scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash; IaC tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain global LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Secure network services with firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Monitor health, detect threats, and respond to incidents.
• Contribute to change management and security compliance.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and diagrams.
• Drive network automation initiatives and IAAC tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Support on-call rotations and incident escalation.
