Job summary

Varonis MDR team lead position based in Poland, overseeing a 24/7 global security service. Responsible for escalation, triage, and escalation of incidents while ensuring continuous customer coverage across regions and time zones.

You will mentor analysts, drive performance reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine detection, response, and playbooks. Strong English communication and cybersecurity background required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations in a global company.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Degree or certification in cybersecurity or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to deliver security operations service while meeting SLA.
• Knowledge of common security technologies and tools (firewall/IDS, EDR/AV, DLP/DSPM, PAM/IAM).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
• Attention to detail and autonomous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Technical and operational escalation point for investigations, incidents, and other elements of the MDR service.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new team members and provide ongoing training.
• Manage performance reviews and initiative improvements to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with Product Support, Product Management, and Engineering.
