Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is hiring an MDR Analyst on the Unit 42 team. You will be at the forefront of cybersecurity, handling customer security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response using Cortex XDR to detect and neutralize threats across our clients.

The role seeks a creative problem-solver with strong English communication, 2+ years in a SOC/IR setting, and experience with EDR, SIEM, and NGFW, plus familiarity with TTPs. Remote work is supported with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a multi-tier SOC or IR role.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, and NGFW technologies.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of security incidents from detection to remediation and customer communication.
• Analyze Cortex XDR alerts to identify root cause and required actions.
• Collaborate with global customers to deliver security monitoring and response services.
• Coordinate with Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams to improve detection.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering to improve security products.
