Job summary

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering in Poland is seeking a Management Accountant to join the team on a work-from-home basis initially, with a transition to a hybrid arrangement in Warsaw within 12 months.

The successful candidate will manage monthly management accounts, VAT, payroll coordination, and compliance, while delivering timely financial reporting and analysis to aid business decisions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a demanding finance/accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting, VAT, payroll, statutory compliance, and month-end processes.
• Experience with Symfonia or similar ERP is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly.
• Post invoices, bank transactions, and journals accurately and on time.
• Provide financial commentary and insight to management for decision making.
