Job summary

We The Folks sp. z o.o. seeks a Junior Frontend Engineer to build rich-media ads for German clients. You’ll implement HTML, SCSS and modern JavaScript, animate with GSAP, and ship across sizes from 320x50 to large fireplace skins.

Expect multiple formats per week and a fast AI-first workflow with Claude Code and Playwright. Remote work is available; Poznań office is optional. Starts November 2026 with flexible timing.

Qualifications

• Solid HTML and CSS skills capable of rebuilding designs from mockups.
• Modern JavaScript (ES6+) without a heavy framework; ads run on plain JS.
• Experience with animation tools (GSAP or similar) and an eye for motion.
• Comfortable with Git: branches, PRs, and resolving conflicts.
• A portfolio or repo demonstrating a shipped ad or similar project.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Build interactive ads in HTML, SCSS and ES6 JavaScript on the in-house framework.
• Turn designer layouts into pixel-perfect, responsive creatives across sizes.
• Animate with GSAP and ensure performance across devices.
• Work with Phaser for game ads, galleries, quizzes, and other formats.
• Wire up clickouts and tracking; prepare assets for QA and delivery.
• Use Claude Code and Playwright to verify visuals and automate checks.
