Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Warsaw seeks an IT Governance Manager to design and manage legal frameworks ensuring compliance with internal policies, contracts, and regulations.

You will lead governance processes with stakeholders from legal, compliance, risk, IT, and business areas to build scalable, robust controls. The role emphasizes end-to-end governance, requirement analysis, framework design, and continuous improvement, including data-driven and AI-enabled compliance initiatives,

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent with strong regulatory focus.
• Several years in legal/compliance/governance roles.
• Solid IT governance, data protection, and information security knowledge.
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and policies.
• Ability to translate regulatory topics into clear policies.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing, reviewing, and maintaining legal frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drafting, negotiating, and standardizing legal documents in alignment with governance needs.
• Interpreting and assessing impact of new laws and regulations on internal processes and translating them into internal rules.
• Collaborating with legal, compliance, risk, IT governance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop governance controls.
• Supporting implementation and rollout of legal frameworks, including training and guidance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve legal and governance processes and implementing enhancements.
• Contributing to legal and compliance risk assessments and audits for auditors or regulators.
