Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical regulation and trade compliance.
• Experience with HTS classification and export controls.
• Knowledge of TSCA, REACH, RoHS, and related regs.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global regulatory compliance and product stewardship programs, including SDSs, GHS labeling, and hazard communications.
• Ensure compliance with TSCA, REACH, UK REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and other global chemical regulations.
• Monitor EPA, OSHA, DOT, ECHA, and other agencies to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Classify products under HTS and determine country of origin.
• Evaluate export control classifications and licensing requirements.
• Review international sales agreements for trade compliance risks.
• Screen embargoed countries and denied parties; manage screening software.
• Provide training on HTS, export controls, and anti-boycott regulations.
• Maintain records and support audits; lead risk assessments and remediation actions.
• Travel up to 15%.
