Job summary

Yalantis is seeking an Embedded Engineer to develop firmware for a greenfield medical device project, including wearable EEG technology. You will own firmware architecture, bring-up, and full-stack integration for BLE streaming and data acquisition.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded development, strong C/C++, and experience with Nordic SoCs and Zephyr RTOS, plus hands-on BLE/GATT expertise. Expect collaboration with a US client and a dynamic, well-equipped office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Nordic SoCs, nRF54L15 preferred.
• Solid experience with Zephyr RTOS and C/C++.
• BLE/GATT experience including data streaming, pairing and reconnection.
• Experience with SPI, interrupts/DMA and real-time data acquisition.
• Strong low-power optimization for battery-powered devices.
• Experience building emulators/test harnesses, preferably with Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for a wearable EEG device.
• Own firmware from bring-up to integration and testing.
• Develop drivers for EEG AFE, accelerometer, DAC, RTC and PSRAM.
• Implement BLE streaming and GATT services, including pairing and reconnection.
• Design power management to support ~72-hour battery life.
• Collaborate with the US client team to define interfaces and specs.
