Job summary

Softeq is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer in the Embedded Systems department. You will own firmware on the nRF7120 / Zephyr platform, drive DK bring-up, Kconfig, and device tree, and build native Zephyr connectivity across Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular.

Collaboration with hardware, software, QA, and systems teams is essential. The role requires 8+ years of embedded firmware with Zephyr/nRF Connect SDK on real hardware, Nordic MCU experience, and strong power-optimization knowledge.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on embedded firmware development.
Experience shipping Zephyr / nRF Connect SDK on real hardware.
Proficiency with Kconfig and device tree.
Zephyr Bluetooth host with GATT-service porting, Wi-Fi and cellular knowledge.
Nordic MCU and peripherals experience (PWM, ADC, DAC, CAN, UART).
Experience with firmware-level power optimization techniques.
English language skills (min. B2).

Responsibilities

Own firmware on the nRF7120 / Zephyr NCS platform (DK bring-up, Kconfig, device tree).
Develop native Zephyr connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth host, and cellular via modem subsystem.
Improve firmware observability with Memfault: coredumps, metrics, OTA campaigns, monitoring.
Maintain firmware quality with CI, unit tests, and injectables.
Collaborate with hardware, software, QA, and systems teams.
