Job summary

Seargin in Poland is seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Engineer for a remote role. You will design firmware for multiple devices, implement features, and ensure robust real-time performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in C++, with experience in RTOS (QNX, VxWorks), network protocols, and embedded firmware development, plus Git/Jenkins CI/CD. Fluent English is required. You will join a multinational team delivering sophisticated solutions for industrial clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related IT field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in C++ with full software lifecycle.
• Knowledge of network protocols, embedded systems architecture, or RTOS (QNX, VxWorks).
• 5+ years in embedded firmware development and debugging.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins).
• Fluent English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Design firmware components for multiple devices.
• Implement and validate features such as network protocols and platform services.
• Perform firmware debugging and root-cause analysis with systematic methods.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions; own components or features.
• Create design docs with high-level and low-level specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to embedded coding standards.
• Lead analysis and resolution of complex system-level issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
• Contribute to technical decisions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with teams worldwide.
