Job summary

Alarm.com is seeking a Firmware Engineer/ C/C++ Developer (Embedded) to join our EBS firmware team in Poland. You will develop embedded software for devices operating in real-world installations and contribute to user safety and smart security.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in C/C++, knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr), and experience with MCUs, Git, CMake, GoogleTest, and VS Code. We offer a permanent contract, hybrid work (4 days in-office, 1 day remote), and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming.
• Higher technical education in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and RTOS.
• Familiarity with development tools and collaboration platforms.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new features and developing existing software.
• Developing and maintaining embedded software in C/C++.
• Working with microcontroller peripherals.
• Integrating devices with external systems and applications.
• Writing unit tests and ensuring code quality and readability.
• Participating in the design of new devices and features.
• Creating and updating technical documentation in English.
• Collaborating with the hardware team and other technical departments.
