LyondellBasell is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to enhance and modernize cloud platforms on Azure and AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
The role involves implementing infrastructure, automating operations, and contributing to governance and GitHub administration while supporting migrations and modernization initiatives enterprise-wide.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years in cloud infrastructure or systems engineering.
- Experience supporting production IT environments.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
- Support daily cloud operations and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud incidents and requests.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows.
- Support administration of the enterprise GitHub environment.
- Assist with cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Participate in security, governance, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to meet cloud requirements.
