Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Poznań is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to define and govern end-to-end data architecture that supports APS and enterprise needs. You will lead data modeling, integration, and cloud-based solutions across ERP and analytics environments.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery in a fast-moving, agile setting, working with business leaders to turn data into competitive advantage using modern data practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms, or enterprise data management.
• Experience creating logical and physical data models including relational, dimensional, and analytical schemas.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and APS aligned data strategy and architectural guardrails.
• Translate business requirements into executable data solutions with hands-on involvement.
• Partner with APS Digital Transformation Panel to implement end-to-end data architecture and governance.
• Develop data integration, ingestion, and transformation across ERP and non-ERP systems.
• Design and support data ingestion pipelines, data transformations, and analytical datasets.
• Ensure scalable, secure data solutions across ERP, cloud data services, analytics, and AI enablement.
