Job summary

Atos in Poland is seeking a Senior Data Expert / Data Strategist to join a strategic data management initiative supporting a major EU Municipality. You will define and execute data strategies, establish governance, manage enterprise data assets, and enable data-driven decision-making across public-sector projects.

The role offers autonomy and requires translating business goals into robust data management, governance, and analytics practices, with German language proficiency and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master's degree in science.
• 5+ years of experience in data strategy, governance or management.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data quality management and data lifecycle processes.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and modern data platforms.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Fluent German communication skills (minimum B2 level).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data-related requirements and opportunities.
• Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
