Job summary

Unit4 is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering team within our global Network & Security Operations Center. You will manage and support Layer 2–7 devices, set up client-to-site and site-to-site VPNs, and work with Netscaler/F5, Cisco, Barracuda, and cloud networking to ensure optimal, secure connectivity.

You’ll excel at troubleshooting, have strong communication skills, and enjoy both independent work and collaboration within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with management and support of Layer 2, 3, 4 and 7 network devices (bare metal and virtual).
• Setting up virtual private networks (Client-to-Site and Site-to-Site).
• Knowledge in network routing protocols, firewalls and security products.
• Experience in configuration and troubleshooting Load Balancers like Netscaler/F5 Big-IP.
• Experience with Cisco hardware devices (Nexus switches, routers).
• Experience with Barracuda hardware devices (Firewall).
• Experience with Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Ability to prioritize and work individually and as part of a team.
• Can work independently with little guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations.
• Passion for learning technologies and curiosity for new ideas.
• Be able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding service and response time when working with customers and internal teams.
