Job summary

enTune Accounting & Business Solutions is seeking a Financial Services Associate to support a portfolio of small and midsize clients with accurate, timely accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and monthly closes. This remote role offers steady hours in Eastern Time and the chance to influence financial decisions across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5–10 years hands-on accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Availability Monday–Friday during Eastern Time business hours.
• Ability to begin at ~30 hours/week and ramp to 40 hours/week.
• Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Proven accuracy, reliability, and alignment with engagement budgets.
• Passion for supporting small and midsize businesses.
• Strong remote collaboration skills and accountability.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations across multiple client engagements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle reconciliations, payables, receivables, reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules that meet client and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary client contact and lead onboarding for new engagements.
• Monitor budgets and communicate capacity, service, or scope concerns proactively.
• Maintain precise documentation and follow established processes to ensure audit readiness and continuity.
• Use cloud based tools like QuickBooks, Canopy, Bill, and others, to deliver efficient, consistent service.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to clarify needs and resolve issues quickly.
• Identify and share process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Uphold enTune’s standards of confidentiality, integrity, and excellence.
• Support smooth transitions between team members and contribute to training and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on accounting best practices, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies.
