Job summary

InTechHouse (SoftBlue) is seeking a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to work on Computer Vision, Edge AI, and time-series analytics from our R&D center. You'll analyze diverse data, build state-of-the-art models, and collaborate to deploy on edge devices and in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in data science / ML roles.
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with DL frameworks (PyTorch and/or TensorFlow).
• Experience in Computer Vision or Time Series analysis.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (Git, Docker, CI/CD).
• Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, clean, and explore diverse datasets (images, audio, text, sensor data).
• Design, train, and evaluate ML/DL models (CV, NLP, Time Series).

What will you be working on?

• Computer Vision / Edge AI
• Predictive Analytics / Time Series
• Data Mining / Optimization

Your role:

• Analyzing, cleaning, and exploring diverse datasets (images, audio, text, sensor data).
• Designing, training, and evaluating state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models (Computer Vision, NLP, Time Series).
• Collaborating with Hardware and Software Engineers to deploy models to edge devices (Edge AI) as well as to cloud/on-premise environments.
• Ensuring code quality and MLOps processes.

Our requirements (must-have):

• At least 3 years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a related role.
• A deep understanding of machine learning principles.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Hands‑on experience with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch and/or TensorFlow).
• Experience in at least one of the key areas for us: Computer Vision (e.g. object detection, segmentation) or Time Series Analysis (forecasting).
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (Git, Docker, basic CI/CD).
• Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Edge AI (model optimisation for devices such as Nvidia Jetson, Raspberry Pi Hailo, Coral TPU; knowledge of TensorRT, ONNX).
• Experience in audio/NLP analysis and processing.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g. MLflow, KubeFlow, DVC, Weights & Biases).
