Job summary

INTechHouse in Poland is seeking a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to join our R&D team. You will explore diverse data, build and evaluate ML models, and deploy them to edge devices and cloud environments.

You’ll work with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern ML tools in a friendly, international setting. Remote or hybrid options are available, with a focus on practical, high‑quality code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
• Strong ML fundamentals and programming in Python.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience in CV or Time Series or NLP.
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Proficient English (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, clean, and explore diverse datasets (images, audio, text, sensor data).
• Design, train, and evaluate state-of-the-art ML models for edge and cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to deploy models to edge devices and cloud/on-prem environments.
• Ensure code quality and adhere to MLOps practices.

What will you be working on?

Your Role

• Analyzing, cleaning, and exploring diverse datasets (images, audio, text, sensor data).
• Designing, training, and evaluating state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models (Computer Vision, NLP, Time Series).
• Collaborating with Hardware and Software Engineers to deploy models to edge devices (Edge AI) as well as to cloud/on-premise environments.
• Ensuring code quality and MLOps processes.

Our Requirements (must-have)

• At least 3 years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a related role.
• A deep understanding of machine learning principles.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Hands‑on experience with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch and/or TensorFlow).
• Experience in at least one of the key areas for us: Computer Vision (e.g. object detection, segmentation) or Time Series Analysis (forecasting).
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (Git, Docker, basic CI/CD).
• Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1 level). Nice to have:
• Experience with Edge AI (model optimization for devices such as Nvidia Jetson, Raspberry Pi Hailo, Coral TPU; knowledge of TensorRT, ONNX).
• Experience in audio/NLP analysis and processing.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g. MLflow, KubeFlow, DVC, Weights & Biases).
