Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Regional General Counsel for the Central & Eastern Europe region to lead the Legal function and support regional leadership. The role is hybrid, spanning multiple jurisdictions within CEE and reporting to the Chief Legal Officer.

You will guide strategic initiatives, manage complex agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to enable sustainable growth across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the CEE Legal function and regional legal team
• Advise regional management on strategic initiatives, organizational change, and business growth opportunities
• Review, negotiate, and structure complex customer, vendor, partner, and technology agreements
• Oversee litigation, corporate governance, entity management, legal reporting, and engagement with external counsel across the region
• Ensure regulatory compliance, including with data protection and AI regulations
• Support selected compliance trainings
• Identify emerging legal risks and translate them into practical business guidance and mitigation

As our newRegional General Counsel CEE, you will lead the Legal function across the CEE region and serve as the trusted legal adviser to regional leadership. You will help enable sustainable growth through practical, risk-based legal guidance while maintaining high standards of governance, compliance, and ethical business conduct. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will develop and enhance legal operations and support business success across multiple jurisdictions (CEE comprises Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine).
