Job summary

SKF is seeking a finance professional in Poznań to support Record to Report and Tax processes within a hybrid work model. You will handle journal entries, balance reconciliation, and financial analysis while interacting with Business Partners across the organization.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 2–3 years of experience, strong English, and IFRS knowledge. Proficiency in Excel; SAP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good English (B1+); French is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
• Excel-focused MS Office proficiency; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for IFRS areas (e.g., intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension, inventory).
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze financial statements/variances.
• Respond to Business Partners’ inquiries in a timely manner.
• Standardize and improve accounting processes; support audits.

The Finance Function at SKF inPoznańincludes Accounting & Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Internal Control and Finance Processes.

• Preparation and posting of journal entriesfor IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g.intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Analysis of financial statement figures and variances
• Respondingin an effective andtimelymanner to all BusinessPartners’inquiriesconcerningyour area ofresponsibilities
• Standardizing and improving accounting processes; using SKF Business excellence as the tool to reach future goals
• Participation in internal and external audits

We expect you to have/be:

• University degree and at least 2-3 years of experience in the accounting and/or finance area
• Very good command of English (at least B1 level); French would be an advantage
• Broad knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, particularly IFRS
• Computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications, with a particular focus on Excel; practical knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Results-oriented and action-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Pragmatic and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail
• Flexible, particularly during month-end and year-end closing periods
• Good organizational and time management skills
