Job summary

AECOM in Kraków, Poland is recruiting an Engineer - Railways to join our Linear Infrastructure team. You will contribute to railway design activities from feasibility to detailed design for major projects in North America and Europe, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in Poland and Spain.

The role requires at least three years of railway design experience, proficiency with OpenRail Designer, PowerRail, Civil 3D, MicroStation or AutoCAD, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of railway design experience.
• Experience with geometric design and 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in OpenRail Designer, Power Rail Track or Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Fluent or strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of small projects or defined work packages within larger railway schemes.
• Develop track geometry, corridors, templates and cross-sections per standards.
• Prepare deliverables from inputs and project requirements.
• Create and update 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Perform quantity calculations per project needs.
• Use CAD software to develop design solutions per standards.
• Self-check drawings and models before review.
• Coordinate drafting tasks with team across disciplines.
