Job summary

AECOM in Warszawa is seeking an Engineer - Highways with experience in roadway design to join our Linear Infrastructures team. You'll work on projects from feasibility to detailed designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years highway design experience, proficiency in InRoads/OpenRoads/OpenRail or Civil 3D, and strong CAD skills in MicroStation or AutoCAD. English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

4+ years of highway design experience.
Experience in highway and/or rail design.
Proficiency with design packages: InRoads, OpenRoads/OpenRail, Rail Track, Civil 3D, Geopak or 12d.
Good CAD skills with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
English communication (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Work on small projects or portions of larger highway/linear infra projects under supervision.
Perform day-to-day design support tasks under designer supervision.
Prepare/update 2D and 3D drawings, models and layouts per project requirements.
Use CAD software to solve engineering problems and develop geometric design skills.
Produce detailed drawings, mark-ups and CAD documentation from provided inputs.
Assist in preparing design documentation and project deliverables.
Collect and organize design data and references.
Self-check drawings prior to submission for review.
Coordinate drafting/modeling tasks with team members under guidance.
Work with project scope, schedule and quality requirements.
