Job summary

Takeda in Łódź, Poland, seeks an experienced R2R professional to support Inventory, Intercompany and General Ledger activities. You will ensure data accuracy through reconciliations, analysis, and issue resolution, helping with month-/year-end close and control compliance.

The role emphasizes process improvements, data quality, and a digital-first approach to enhance standardization and efficiency across regions. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Several years of experience in R2R with exposure to Inventory, Intercompany, and GL.
• Experience with complex close, balance sheet review, and R2R issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel; SAP/Hyperion/Ariba/Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review complex accounting activities across Inventory, Intercompany, and General Ledger.
• Support month-end close and year-end close deliverables on time.
• Monitor process dependencies and ensure timely handover between subledger and GL.
• Perform accrual posting reconciliations and related control activities.
• Provide expert-level support in issue resolution and documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert to ensure consistency and process continuity.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement in R2R processes.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors and support walkthroughs.
