Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an R2R Finance and Accounting Manager (German) to lead General Ledger activities and drive month-end close with a strong focus on GAAP/IFRS compliance. You will coordinate audits, mentor GL teams, and partner with Tax and Corporate Finance to implement improvements.

Fluent in English and German, you will influence process optimization and automation, supporting Capgemini’s global clients and delivering accurate financial reporting in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Experience coaching or advising General Ledger accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of General Ledger accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Coordinate and oversee month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Monitor and analyze account balances and financial movements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance teams to ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and implement accounting changes.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Support process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives within the R2R area.
