Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an R2R Finance and Accounting Manager (German) to act as a key expert within the Record to Report function, ensuring high-quality accounting processes and internal controls. You will manage complex activities, support closing and reporting, analyze data, and drive improvements.

You will collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance to ensure compliance, support automation initiatives, and contribute to Capgemini's global finance transformation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Experience managing accounting activities for legal entities or country-level operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and compliant financial reporting.
• Experience coaching or advising General Ledger accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Own General Ledger accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Coordinate month-end closing ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Monitor and analyze account balances and financial movements, resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance teams to ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Act as main contact for internal and external audits.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the R2R area.
• Provide guidance to accounting team members.
