Job summary
Hitachi Energy Technology Center in Krakow seeks an Electronics Engineer to strengthen the Valve Electronics team. You will contribute to the MACH product line, focusing on analogue circuit design, power electronics, EMC and power integrity, and work across the hardware lifecycle from concept to production.
You will collaborate with a skilled team in a new on-site lab, participate in technical reviews, and help advance documentation, testing, and development processes for reliable HVDC systems.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor in Electronics Engineering
- At least 2 years of analogue circuit board design experience with DFMEA, MTBF and related quality practices
- Experience in Power Electronics – topologies, semiconductors and magnetics (design for 1 kV and above)
- Understanding of EMC, Power Integrity and management
- Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment and circuit boards testing
- Understanding PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes (DFM, etc)
- Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn new technologies
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and good communication skills
- English language – at least Intermediate / B2
Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and maintenance of MACH products in Valve Electronics domain
- Participate in full hardware lifecycle from ideas to release and sustaining production
- Support documentation, design reviews and testing infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate on projects and planning, sharing expertise across the team
- Impact HVDC and GPQSS technology with robust hardware solutions
