Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a highly motivated engineer with a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering to strengthen our R&D team in 3D/2.5D manufacturing test. You will work with an international team, collaborating across QA, documentation, and product marketing to advance our Tessent-based solutions using the latest tools and technologies.

You will lead projects that add significant new functionality, contributing to innovation in AI/ML-enabled testing and design-for-test.

Qualifications

• Must have PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering
• Course work and project experience with VLSI design, HDL Synthesis, VLSI testing and design-for-test (DFT)
• Have a deep knowledge and understanding of DFT structures like scan methodology, scan compression, logic built-in self test (BIST), boundary scan and ATPG
• Strong background in 3D IC test with good understanding of interconnect test and repair
• Strong EDA background with C/C++, TCL, Python skills for project implementation and technology development
• Good understanding of IEEE 1500, IEEE 1687 and IEEE 1838 standards
• Experience with design, simulation, verification of ASIC/VLSI circuits and systems
• Demonstrated strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
