Job summary

Techland in Poland seeks a Quest Designer to shape engaging quests for our open-world action RPGs. You will craft story beats, collaborate closely with the Narration team, and own quest development from concept to integration in our proprietary C-Engine.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team with Level Design, Art, Open World, Animation, Audio and QA, ensure alignment with the director’s vision, and implement feedback while following an iterative pipeline. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the gaming industry.
• At least 1 year as a Quest Designer or similar.
• Knowledge of storytelling basics.
• Experience in game narration and editors used for game creation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain engaging quests for players.
• Collaborate closely with the Narration team.
• Serve as quest owner in an interdisciplinary strike team.
• Coordinate with Quest Producer and Quest Director to maintain vision.
• Follow an iterative pipeline and address feedback from directors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovative quest/narration solutions.
• Report and track time in Jira.
