Job summary

Techland in Wroclaw is seeking a Writer to join the Narrative team to craft action-driven stories for our games. You will help shape dialogue, character voice, and environmental storytelling across main quests and side content.

You will design narrative documentation, write dialogues, and collaborate with the quest design team while delivering work under tight deadlines. Fluency in Polish and English is essential. Experience with the proprietary C-Engine is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing narratives for video games.
• Polish and English language fluency.
• Strong collaboration and communication with multiple departments.
• Creativity, independence and ability to work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design narrative documentation: outlines, character descriptions, world region overviews.
• Write dialogues for main story, side quests and background conversations.
• Design, implement and develop dialogues in the C-Engine.
• Prepare and update quest documentation (pitch, dialogue and scene scripts, descriptions).
• Collaborate with the quest design team.
• Provide creative feedback on quest and scene within interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in creative meetings to develop quest documentation.
