Job summary

Activision Warsaw is seeking a Quest Designer to join our Content Team. You will design and implement quest content for a new IP, collaborating with quest, narrative, and level design teams to craft cohesive in-game experiences.

You will help develop pipelines with engineers and designers, design playable quests, and express the story’s vision through exploration, dialogue, and gameplay. We value collaboration and inclusive creativity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional Game Designer or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience with technical game design (implementation in tools, game logic, visual scripting).
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a confidential environment.
• Creative problem-solving with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Experience pitching game design concepts clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Strong organization to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Ability to thrive in a creative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quest, narrative, level design teams and other departments to craft cohesive experiences for locations, characters, content and plots.
• Work with Quest and Narrative Designers and Engineers to develop pipelines and processes for Quest Design.
• Design and implement functional quests and become proficient in using our tools.
• Help express the story's vision via exploration, dialogue, gameplay and activities.
• Provide constructive feedback on colleagues’ work.
• Act as a liaison to other departments, ensuring consistent design vision.
