Job summary

NKT is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the local Quality function in Warszowice, coordinating strategic quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements. You will manage the quality team, drive improvements, and collaborate with global Quality teams to embed a strong quality culture across the site.

The role reports to the Quality Director, Distribution Business Line, and requires at least 5 years in quality within manufacturing, plus leadership

Qualifications

• University degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 as part of an integrated system.
• Hands-on quality tools: 8D, FMEA, RCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, CAPA, SPC and Control Plans.
• Understanding of metrology processes: calibration, verification, measurement system reliability.
• Experience with ERP/QMS systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; English (min B2) and Polish fluent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local Quality team.
• Oversee site quality strategy aligned with Business Line and Group objectives.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards and the integrated management system.
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformities, CAPA and root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate internal, customer and certification audits; act as internal auditor.
• Drive continuous improvement using structured tools; monitor quality KPIs.
• Oversee metrology processes and calibration programs.
• Collaborate with global Quality teams to standardize processes.
• Coach managers and employees to promote a quality mindset.
