Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans is expanding battery-electric LCV production with a new plant in Jawor, Poland. We seek experienced professionals to shape the future of mobility by planning and delivering production systems, lines, and processes for VAN.EA with cross-functional teams.

The role demands a degree in engineering, several years in production planning or process tech, and strong project management capabilities, including CAD and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering or similar education.
• Several years of experience in production planning, body shop systems planning or process technology.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Analytical, strategic thinking with a results-focused mindset.
• Team-oriented with interdisciplinary collaboration and strong problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with openness to change processes.
• Good IT skills, especially CAD software and MS Office.
• Fluent Polish and English; German where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish the new production system for the VAN.EA project.
• Plan bodyshop processes and production lines for the Jawor facility.
• Manage subprojects with external and internal stakeholders.
• Design and ramp up innovative production processes for the new vehicle series.
• Preliminary and detailed planning of production technologies and equipment.
• Provide regular status reports to the project manager.
• Oversee suppliers, identify deviations and ensure project timeline.
• Lead interdisciplinary workshops and manage subprojects.
