Job summary

DCG is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend services and frontend components. You will work in an Agile environment with developers and analysts to ensure high-quality software through automated and manual testing, REST API validation and data analysis.

Requirements include 5+ years in software testing, strong automation skills in Playwright, Cucumber, WireMock, Java and TypeScript, plus SQL and Jenkins experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Strong experience in test automation for web applications and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber and WireMock.
• Good knowledge of Java and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with REST API testing, both automated and manual.
• Experience with Postman and/or Bruno.
• Good knowledge of Gherkin and test case design.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Experience using Jenkins, including basic configuration.
• Experience with qTest or similar test management tools.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Practical experience using AI tools in software development or testing.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Nice to have: ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of IT analysis methods and standards such as BPMN 2.0, UML or IREB

QA Automation Engineer
