Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a QA Engineer to support API testing, collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define test coverage, and contribute to agile ceremonies within a Scrum team.

You will perform manual testing duties as needed (~30%), demonstrate strong communication, and uphold a quality-first mindset while leveraging JIRA, qTest, and Git in an English-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using JIRA and qTest for test management.
• Knowledge of Git or Bitbucket version control.
• Strong communication across developers, analysts, and Product Owners.
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects.
• Understanding of frontend testing and the test pyramid.
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset.
• Analytical, structured problem-solving approach.
• Proactive, ownership of tasks.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Cooperating closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage
• Supporting manual testing (~30%)
• Working effectively in a Scrum team and contributing to agile ceremonies

Requirements

• Experience working with JIRA and qTest
• Knowledge of GIT or other version control systems (e.g. Bitbucket)
• Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate across roles (developers, analysts, Product Owners)
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects
• Ability to challenge assumptions and uncover edge cases
• Solid understanding of frontend testing and the test pyramid
• Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Proactive attitude and ownership of assigned tasks
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium in writing automated test cases
