Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a QA Tester to support API testing, collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners, and contribute to manual testing within a Scrum team in Warsaw. You will document defects clearly, help ensure test coverage, and grow with a team that values attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive ownership.

Experience with JIRA and qTest is expected; knowledge of Git or Bitbucket is a plus; familiarity with frontend testing and the test pyramid will help.

Qualifications

• Experience with Jira and qTest for test case management.
• Git or Bitbucket experience for version control.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to identify, reproduce and document defects clearly.
• Knowledge of frontend testing and test pyramid concepts.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured problem solving.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting API testing activities (review and write)
• Cooperating closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage
• Supporting manual testing (~30%)
• Working effectively in a Scrum team and contributing to agile ceremonies

Requirements:

• Experience working with JIRA and qTest
• Knowledge of GIT or other version control systems (e.g. Bitbucket)
• Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate across roles (developers, analysts, Product Owners)
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document defects
• Ability to challenge assumptions and uncover edge cases
• Solid understanding of frontend testing and the test pyramid
• Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Proactive attitude and ownership of assigned tasks
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Selenium in writing automated test cases
• Experience with RestAssured in writing automated API test cases
