Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java/Selenium) to design and maintain automated test suites for web UI and APIs. You will work across CI/CD pipelines, contribute to automation strategy and collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA teammates to ensure high delivery quality.

The role requires strong Java and Selenium experience, API testing, and tools like Git, Jenkins and Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Test Automation.
• 5+ years of Web UI test automation using Selenium.
• 5+ years of Java development / test automation coding experience.
• 3+ years of API automation testing (REST/SOAP).
• 3+ years of experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, HP ALM).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve automated test cases for Web UI and APIs.
• Automate new test scenarios and explore AI in test automation.
• Maintain and improve automation framework and repository.
• Monitor daily automated runs, analyze results and failures.
• Maintain automated tests in code and test management tools.
• Implement fixes and changes in automation code.
• Plan and execute regression testing for releases.
• Identify, report, track and verify defects.
• Extend test coverage with new automation scenarios.
• Provide recommendations based on results and risks.

Stanowisko: Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java/Selenium)

Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and continuously improve automated test cases for Web UI and APIs
• Automate newly created test scenarios, including exploring opportunities to leverage AI in test automation
• Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework and code repository according to engineering best practices
• Monitor daily automated test runs, analyse results and investigate failures
• Maintain automated test cases in both the code repository and test management tools
• Implement fixes and required changes in automation code
• Plan and execute regression testing for application releases
• Identify, report, track and verify defects
• Proactively identify additional scenarios suitable for automation and extend existing test coverage
• Provide recommendations based on test execution results and identified risks
• Work closely with developers, analysts and other team members to ensure high quality throughout the delivery process
• Support manual testing activities when required
• Follow internal testing standards and established QA processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Test Automation
• 5+ years of experience with Web UI test automation using Selenium
• 5+ years of Java development / test automation coding experience
• Strong experience in functional, system and integration testing
• 3+ years of API automation testing experience, including REST APIs and SOAP
• Strong experience with Git and maintaining remote code repositories
• Practical experience with Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Experience maintaining and executing automated test suites as part of scheduled CI/CD runs
• Good knowledge of general testing methodologies at approximately ISTQB Foundation Level
• 3+ years of experience with test management tools, preferably qTest, HP ALM or similar
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence
• Good communication skills and English at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with Playwright for Web UI test automation
• Experience working in a SAFe / Agile environment
• Previous experience in the financial or banking industry
• Experience applying AI-based solutions to test automation
