Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. is seeking a QA Engineer in Kraków to join a product team developing advanced energy applications, including power system algorithms.

You will collaborate with software developers, researchers, and product management to deliver smarter, greener, and more reliable energy solutions. You will plan testing strategies, develop automated and manual tests, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while working with lab equipment to validate real-life scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience in test automation using Python.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies based on business requirements and solution designs.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Be part of a development team delivering customer-ready solutions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to improve release quality.
• Work with physical laboratory equipment to validate real-life scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, investigate, and resolve software issues.
• Actively participate in Agile development processes and promote software testing best practices.
