Job summary

ETAP in Krakow is seeking a QA Test Engineer to join our R&D team. You will define and execute test plans, develop automated tests for electrical systems, verify equipment compliance, and participate in Agile sprints to improve quality and reliability.

You should have a scientific background, familiarity with electrical basics, and experience in test automation. We offer a collaborative environment, growth in AI-enabled testing, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Experience in QA for electrical systems and components.
Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting.
Understanding of QA philosophies, test strategies, and quality principles.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
Good English communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for electrical systems and components.
Design and maintain automated test solutions to improve coverage and efficiency.
Verify selection and compliance of electrical equipment per standards and specs.
Perform and validate electrical calculations (power, current, voltage, thermal, protections).
Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Apply QA methodologies throughout the development lifecycle and participate in sprints.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Explore and leverage AI-based tools to enhance testing and defect detection.
