Job summary

ETAP is seeking a QA Engineer to join the R&D team in Krakow to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems through testing, automation, and QA best practices.

The role involves creating test plans, developing automated tests, and validating equipment against standards in an Agile setting. Collaboration with engineers and continuous improvement are central to the position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with test automation and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for electrical systems and components.
• Design and maintain automated test solutions to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Verify equipment selection and compliance according to standards and specs.
• Perform electrical calculations (power, current, voltage, thermal, protections).
• Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Apply QA practices across the development lifecycle.
• Work in Agile environments and participate in sprints.
