Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. in Kraków is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on test automation in Python.

You will design and implement comprehensive test strategies, automate tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Power Systems and related protocols is highly valued. You will collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and quality, mentor peers, and contribute to continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on test automation using Python.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, Agile development practices, and Git version control.
Experience with CI/CD environments and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing, or security testing is advantageous.
Knowledge of Power Systems, WAMS/WAMPAC, PMU data, system integration, or communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, OPC, or IEEE C37.118 is valuable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test strategies based on requirements and designs.
Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional and non-functional needs.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to improve quality and release efficiency.
Validate solutions in labs with real equipment to simulate operations.
Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to investigate issues and promote quality practices.
Act in Agile processes and support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Mentor team members and build domain expertise in Power Systems and quality engineering.
