Job summary

Medius in Kraków is seeking a QA Engineer Intern to join a cross-functional team, contributing to testing of SaaS products and APIs. You’ll learn QA fundamentals, participate in functional, smoke, and regression testing during releases, and document results.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and product teams, grow your testing mindset, and gain practical experience in a global tech company committed to innovation and fair opportunities for students.

Qualifications

• You are a second-year student with active student status.
• Interest in software testing and QA fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and QA role.
• Experience with SaaS/web apps and API testing (Postman).
• English sufficient for day-to-day work.

QA Engineer Intern

Who are we looking for?

• You are at least a second-year student and have active student status
• You are a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and documents work effectively

What will you do?

• Be a part of a cross-functional team
• Participate in functional testing, smoke testing and regression testing, during the release cycle
• Continuously learn new things and eagerly share knowledge with others

What do we expect?

• Strong interest in software testing and a good understanding of QA fundamentals
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it
• Basic understanding of web applications and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products
• Basic understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman
• A QA mindset, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and testing approaches
• English proficiency sufficient for day-to-day work

What would be an advantage?

• ISTQB certification
• Completed QA training or course
• Previous internship, academic project, personal project, or commercial experience in software testing

The estimated base salary range for this role is 32 PLN / hour. This is a good‑faith estimate of the compensation for the position.

Actual compensation depends on a few things: relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, internal equity, and where the role is performed — pay can vary by location because the cost of labour does.

The total package may also include variable compensation (such as a performance bonus), benefits, and participation in other incentive or benefit plans, subject to the terms of those plans and your eligibility.
