Medius AB is seeking a QA Engineer Intern to join our Cracow R&D team. You will work within a cross-functional squad, contributing to functional, smoke, and regression tests during release cycles. You will continuously learn and share knowledge with peers to improve product quality and testing practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and a proactive approach, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities to grow in QA disciplines.

• You are at least a second-year student and have active student status
• You are a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and documents work effectively

What will you do?

• Be a part of a cross-functional team
• Participate in functional testing, smoke testing and regression testing, during the release cycle
• Continuously learn new things and eagerly share knowledge with others

What do we expect?

• Strong interest in software testing and a good understanding of QA fundamentals
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it
• Basic understanding of web applications and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products
• Basic understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman
• A QA mindset, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and testing approaches
• English proficiency sufficient for day-to-day work

What would be an advantage?

• Previous internship, academic project, personal project, or commercial experience in software testing

The estimated base salary range for this role is 32 PLN / hour. This is a good-faith estimate of the compensation for the position.

Actual compensation depends on a few things: relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, internal equity, and where the role is performed — pay can vary by location because the cost of labour does.

The total package may also include variable compensation (such as a performance bonus), benefits, and participation in other incentive or benefit plans, subject to the terms of those plans and your eligibility.
