Job summary

Infinity Quest in Kraków, Poland is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead automated testing efforts. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable test frameworks for web apps and APIs, with hands-on Playwright expertise across TS, Python, or Java.

You will work within an Agile delivery team, collaborating with developers, product owners, and analysts to embed quality throughout the SDLC and optimize CI/CD-driven testing processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI and API tests (TS/Python/Java).
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks for web apps and event-driven distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality engineering, and test lifecycle management.
• Experience in Agile teams and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web apps, APIs, and event-driven distributed systems.
• Create and execute end-to-end automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Develop robust UI and API test automation to ensure high product quality and reliability.
• Lead quality engineering initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation optimization.
• Define and implement testing strategies, standards, and best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality is built into development.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to quality metrics.
