WPP is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our Data & Technology Solutions team in Warsaw. You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems powering our marketing technologies, including the WPP Open AI platform.

You will build high-performance APIs, integrate with data sources and AI services, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security across distributed systems. 3+ years of backend experience and Python proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs (REST, gRPC).
• Collaborate with architects to define system architecture and data models.
• Integrate with internal/external data sources and AI services relevant to AdTech.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
