Job summary

Sii Polska in Poland is seeking a Python Developer to join our international team, focusing on backend and data development. You will help build scalable data pipelines, REST APIs for pricing and vehicle data, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers in an Agile setup.

The role requires 4+ years of Python experience, strong data tooling (Pandas), SQL (PostgreSQL), and experience with FastAPI or Flask, plus 50% on-site work in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Python Developer with a backend and data focus.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including data-processing with Pandas.
• Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines, ideally using Airflow.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Fluent English and Polish communication skills with experience in an international environment.
• Willingness to work from the Warsaw office 2–3 days per week (50% on-site).

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Building and evolving the data model with a focus on data quality and reliability.
• Developing and maintaining Python backend services and REST APIs exposing pricing and vehicle data.
• Integrating internal and external systems via APIs and event-driven data flows.
• Writing clean, tested code and ensuring production stability with monitoring and data quality checks.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters and Developers to deliver scalable solutions.
