Job summary

Intetics is seeking a Python/AI Agent Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered agents for automating business processes. The role involves working with stakeholders to map operations, data sources, and business rules, and to implement AI-assisted workflows using Python, LLMs, and enterprise platforms.

The candidate will normalize data from Excel files, integrate agents with enterprise systems, and ensure data quality with robust validation and logging.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Practical experience building AI/LLM-powered apps or AI agents.
• Experience with prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs.
• Experience integrating LLMs via APIs or enterprise platforms.
• Strong experience processing data from Excel files using Python (pandas/openpyxl/Polars).
• Ability to normalize data from heterogeneous Excel files with inconsistent schemas.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based AI agents for business-process automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes, data, outputs, and rules.
• Translate business needs into AI-assisted workflows.
• Build agent logic, prompts, validation steps, and supporting Python services.
• Process and normalize structured and semi-structured data from Excel files.
• Extract data from varied Excel formats and map to a common data model.
• Combine deterministic processing with LLM interpretation when appropriate.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise apps, data sources, and APIs.
• Implement data-quality checks, logging, error handling, and reviews.
• Test agents against real-world scenarios and improve reliability.
• Work within enterprise security and AI framework constraints.
• Support deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
