Job summary

PerkinElmer in Krakow is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist with French language skills to join the OneSource team, supporting GMP-compliant procurement across a multinational network.

In this hybrid role (3 days in Quattro Business Park), you will review requisitions, obtain quotes, manage supplier data in SAP, and drive cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• Very good level of French and English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite.

• Coordinate and execute purchasing activities to support operations.
• Request and evaluate quotes from suppliers ensuring quality, compliance, and competitive pricing.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist with French language skills. The person will support the OneSource team.

Hybrid working model, Krakow, Quattro Business Park (3-day office)

Role description

• Review, analyze, and process incoming purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal procurement policies and GMP requirements
• Coordinate and execute purchasing activities in a timely and cost-effective manner to support uninterrupted operations
• Request and evaluate quotes from approved suppliers and contract service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and competitive pricing
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of purchasing data in systems, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance
• Monitor supplier performance, cost, and contract scope to ensure best value, quality, and service levels
• Identify and develop new, qualified supply sources when existing vendors no longer meet performance, compliance, or cost expectations
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives, including alternative sourcing strategies, supplier consolidation, and process optimization to increase efficiency and reduce purchasing and procurement risk
• Responsible for consistently meeting Purchasing targets and contributing to the achievement of departmental KPIs

Role requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Management preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
• Very good level of French and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual
