Job summary

Mphasis in Poland is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong SAP FICO background to lead end-to-end SAP FICO projects, including S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts. You will manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in finance or accounting with SAP FICO experience, strong PM skills across Agile and Waterfall, and excellent communication and leadership

Technical Skills:

Project Manager with SAP Finance Implementation background.

• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO projects, including S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee system configuration, data migration, testing, and user training.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and IT teams.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure effective communication across all project levels, fostering collaboration and transparency.

3. Process Optimization & Compliance

• Analyze and optimize finance-related business processes within the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control requirements in SAP implementations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in SAP FICO modules to optimize financial operations.
• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide team members on SAP best practices and project management methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 9+ years in finance or accounting, with significant experience in SAP FICO implementations and project management.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules (FI, CO, COPA, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Treasury, etc.). Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership abilities to manage teams and engage stakeholders effectively.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, PMP) are advantageous
