Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group seeks a Project Manager with fluent English to support a major client IT team remotely. The role integrates with the ED team and collaborates with business stakeholders on site as needed.

You will drive end-to-end project delivery, plan releases, and facilitate Agile ceremonies. Required are a Master’s in IT, 10+ years in software projects, strong use of user stories, and certifications (PM2/PMI/Prince2/Agile).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or related field.
• 10+ years experience in software development projects.
• 7+ years experience creating user stories and requirements.
• 5+ years managing IT projects with budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
• 5+ years using JIRA/Confluence and working in Agile environments.

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, timelines, and quality standards;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and implementation plans;
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Lead project teams, coordinate activities, and review deliverables;
• Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and resources, implementing corrective actions when required;
• Manage project changes, stakeholder communication, and governance reporting
• Gather, analyse and validate business requirements;
• Create, manage and prioritise product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Plan product releases and support sprint planning and prioritization;
• Organise and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives;
• Review sprint deliverables and validate product functionalities against business requirements;
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate business acceptance;
• Ensure effective collaboration between business and technical teams;
• Drive continuous improvement of project delivery and Agile processes

Requirements

• Master's degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience;
• At least 10 years of experience in software development projects;
• At least 7 years of experience in performing analysis utilising use case specifications or user stories;
• At least 5 years of experience in producing user stories;
• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects making use of expertise in strategic planning, project scheduling, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking;
• At least 5 years of experience with project management software such as JIRA and Confluence;
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in Agile environments, Scrum Management and Lean agile;
• Experience applying recognised project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, PMBOK;
• The following or an equivalent certification would be mandatory: PM2, Project Management, Professional (PMP), or PRINCE2;
• The following or an equivalent certification would be mandatory: PM2-Agile, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Scrum Alliance's Certified ScrumMaster, Scrum.org's Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist;
• Excellent command of the English language
