Job summary

Toppan Digital Language is seeking a Localization Project Manager to lead and support translation projects for regulated industries. You will manage full project lifecycles, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

The role requires German language skills (reading/writing B1-B2) and 2+ years of project management experience, with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days from home).

Qualifications

• University degree in translation or languages or equivalent experience.
• German language reading/writing at B1-B2 level or higher.
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with CAT tools and MT.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an international team.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead and effectively manage the full lifecycle of translation projects from inception to completion.
• Determine resource requirements and optimal cost structure based on objectives and operational needs.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues and close identified gaps.
• Work closely with Vendor Management, Operations and Business Development teams.
• Ensure project resources maintain high quality and professional and ethical standards.
• Participate in mentoring or training of junior colleagues.

Due to continued growth in our client base, we are seeking Localization Project Managers to lead and/or support relationship building and project delivery for clients operating in the regulated industries and governmental space such as financial services, legal, life sciences, healthcare, market insights. Working model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)

• Independently lead and effectively manage the full lifecycle of translation projects from inception to completion

• Work closely and diligently with Vendor Management, Operations and Business Development teams
• Ensure project resources maintain a high level of quality and professional and ethical standards
• Participate in mentoring or training of junior colleagues
• University degree in relevant discipline (translation, languages) or equivalent experience
• Good German language skills, particularly in reading and writing (B1-B2 level)
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and growing business
• Strong IT skills, advanced knowledge of CAT tools and understanding of MT
• Strong communication skills including presentation/meeting facilitation
